Keith Springer is Fox 40’s Financial Analyst, author of Facing Goliath: How to Triumph in the Dangerous Market Ahead, radio host of Smart Money with Keith Springer on 1530 KFBK, editor of the Smart Money Newsletter, a market technician, a financial writer, multinational philanthropist, and President and founder of Springer Financial Advisors in Sacramento CA, an SEC Registered Investment Advisory Firm. He has developed a US Trademarked proprietary process known as Top-Down Tactical™ for building tax-efficient and retirement portfolios for high net worth individuals. Keith has been providing professional financial advice for more than 25 years, specializing in wealth management solutions for the most complex individual and institutional portfolios worldwide.

His career began with Merrill Lynch in his hometown of Boston, Massachusetts, where he completed his financial consultant training in 1985. In 1990, he moved to California to study advanced portfolio management and investment management studies. By 1996, he felt his clients’ interests would be best served by going independent, so he became a Registered Investment Advisor and formed Springer Financial Advisors where he continues to serve as president today.

In conjunction with his career as an advisor, he has dedicated himself to serving the community. It gives him great pleasure to help the dreams of others come true. Thus, in 1999 he organized the Springer Turkey Challenge to raise money to feed local hungry families. Through the generosity of his friends and clients, each holiday season he raises funds, which he then matches, to help feed those most in need. The Springer Turkey Challenge feeds over 10,000 people each year that would otherwise go without during the holidays, and Keith looks forward to doing even more in the years to come.

Keith is a member of The Society for Financial Awareness (SOFA), where he donates his time delivering free seminars and workshops for companies, civic organizations, church groups, etc. His goal is to help raise financial awareness and assist people in taking charge of their financial future. He is also a Registered Financial Planner with the Registered Financial Planners Institute and a Master Certified member of the prestigious HS Dent Advisers Network. He is also a member of the Directors Circle for the Crocker Art Museum, The Conductors Circle with the Sacramento, and Rotary International for over 20 years. Keith is a graduate of Clark University in Worcester, MA, with additional studies at Kings College, University of London.
