The stock market is coming down off its earnings high and taking a breather. Going forward, it will be hard for stocks to push higher without the positive news of stellar earnings. Over 75% of companies reported results better than expected. At this point I expect a minor correction. The only sticking point is that the whole world is looking for the same correction, so it may not happen for a bit. Most importantly. The trend remains positive…provided Bernanke and The Fed DO NOT stop the Quantitative Easing programs. The market is addicted to QE like an addict on crack.
